About TRINC Anti-Static Ionizer

TRINC is an anti-static ionizer that can create a large amount of negative and positive ions from one electrode using little voltage. TRINC redesigned the way ions are produced by using their DC Corona discharging method. Common anti-static devices will produce ions with AC discharge; however, this method is dependant to an external power source to distribute the ions (i.e. an air blower). TRINC technology on the other hand, uses the ions distinct property (repulsion of opposite charge and attraction of like charge) to evenly disperse the ions to a wide and distant area. This method eliminates static charges on a target and also discharges any dust surrounding the object. By focusing on creating a static free space, you can get rid of static and also reduce many defects that are related to dust.

Quite often, when applications require a clean room environment for operation, one of the main problems experienced is from workers entering the clean room with dust particles and other foreign material attached to them. This can completely defeat the purpose of having a clean room and can cause major issues with product yield. This problem can be eliminated with the use of TRINC’s Ion Air Shower. By setting up an ion air shower for workers to walk through before entering the clean room, you can be assured that no worker is bringing foreign material attached to them into the room, and furthermore, that the room does in fact stay clean!
